What can change the price?

Send the product link or model number, item count and room location. Large wardrobes, wall-mounted storage, specialist wall surfaces, missing parts and partly assembled items need an individual quote. State whether anchoring, packaging removal or moving furniture is required; none is assumed included in these ranges.

Furniture and shelving assembly

Include the product name, model or a link to the furniture you want assembled. Tell us how many items there are and whether the boxes are already at the property. A small table and a large storage unit have different assembly requirements, so an item list is more helpful than a general request.

Already started assembling an item

If an item is partly assembled, describe what has been completed and where you ran into difficulty. Keep the instructions and remaining hardware together, and mention any missing or damaged parts in your enquiry. This helps distinguish an assembly job from an item that may need replacement parts first.

Shelving, fixtures and mounting

For wall-mounted items, describe the item, its intended position and what you know about the wall. Include dimensions and any manufacturer instructions. Assembly and fixing something to a wall are separate parts of a request; make it clear whether you need both so suitability and the work involved can be discussed.

Make one list for the room

Moving furniture into place often reveals other small jobs. If a door, hinge or trim also needs attention, see general household repairs. If there are several tasks across the property, our home maintenance service explains how to request help with the wider list. Include access details and your postal code when contacting us.
